As a child, I was enchanted by princesses, their grace, their world, their dresses. My first icon was Empress Elisabeth, or Sissi. Years later, during my BFA studies, I was tasked with creating my alter ego. I chose Elisabeth, the name of my great-grandmother, Sissi, and my third own name. I put on my old Sissi dress, and suddenly everything clicked. The fabric, the line, the strength I felt: I recognized myself. I wanted to convey that feeling. That's how my brand was born.
